The real estate industry has been dominated by individual agents for years. These agents have to run around and do everything by themselves. They have to be a master of advertising, negotiating, contracts, listing homes, selling homes, paperwork, and all of the back end work involved in buying and selling a home. One person just can’t do it all so real estate agents have gotten a bad name over the years. They are looked at as a necessary evil needed to get into homes and get your home sold.
There has been a trend toward real estate agents working together and forming a team. These teams can offer a huge advantage to the customer as no one person needs to be an expert in all areas of the transaction. A well run team may never be perfect, they have a much better chance then an individual agent.
The Suburban House Hunters Team is a group of real estate agents with a vast amount of experience. To insure that our agents spend their time providing excellent customer service we have a marketing director that handles all of our marketing. The agents never need to worry about finding their next customer, marketing listings, creating brochures, or any other time consuming task that takes away from providing their customers with great service.
If you would like to know more about our team and our services please contact us.

I completely agree, I am getting close to hitting that glass ceiling myself and am gathering info which will help me to decide if I should partner up with someone. I am interested in how most agents divide up their pay and how they structure their business together. Any suggestions or advise? I’m a broker considering teaming up with another broker in my area. I have the business coming in, she’s got more experience than I do to handle it.
Thanks.

Rhonda when you have a team of agents it is normally best for there to be one main agent. The rest might be buyers agents, or rental agents, or…any specialty that you might need more assistance with.
These agents report to one main agent and work for that main agent. They also will expect a good part of their business to come from the marketing efforts of that main agent. The pay really depends on what you feel is fair, but not really something I will talk about on this blog. Feel free to fill out our contact form to ask more questions and I will be happy to share.
